Meet the Artists
Arlene Muzyka has had a continuous love affair with stones, art
glass and precious metals for most of her life. Her first gallery
show as a jeweler was over 18 years ago, and featured polished pebbles
plucked from New Jersey beaches and wrapped in silver wire. Since
then, she has traveled through many countries in search of the beautiful,
the exotic and the mysterious in beads and stones.
Arlene’s fascination with ancient and Renaissance history
has led to her developing the Historical Possibilities™
line of jewelry. All of her designs are one-of-a-kind, and she particularly
enjoys working with individuals to create jewelry that reflects
their unique personalities, philosophies and preferences.
Arlene is a founding member and president of the Delaware
Valley Bead Society. She has exhibited at over 200 juried
fine craft shows, and is represented in several exclusive boutiques
throughout the United States, where she works with owners to design
pieces that are particularly suited to their clothing. Her other
passions include music, her husband, their historic home, and their
four cats. Arlene also works with at-risk children, mentoring them
in the arts. |
